Daywalker

A daywalker is a vampire who is, for some reason or another, immune to the effects of sunlight and is able to operate in the daytime.
The term was coined in the Blade Marvel Comic series and was popularized by the films based upon them. In it Blade is often reffered to as "The Daywalker", although others exist. Most Half Vampire-Half Humans (called dhampir) are daywalkers. Despite this, some full vampires are powerful enough or have found ways to negate the effects of sunlight. Sometimes, a daywalker may be immune to some of the other trademark vampire weakneses, such as garlic or the need to drink blood.
The term "daywalker" can also be used to describe person or thing who does not follow the normal rules and/or limitations of its group.
