In broad daylight, under the watchful eyes of security guards and cameras, over 150 people at a major telecommunications center in suburban Atlanta experienced over two hours of missing time when five alien spacecraft apparently landed outside their heavily wooded office complex on February 4, 1991. Both managers and staff had memories of abduction scenarios where gray aliens gathered information about computer software, telecommunication systems and how humans relate to this technology . However, within 48 hours, all but a handful of employees defensively denied anything out of the ordinary had ever happened. Even before the main event, several employees had discussed commonly shared dreams containing identical words and pictures.

The data center itself had been designed to withstand terrorist attacks and is high tech in every way with its uninterrupted power source, battery back-up system, diesel power back-up generators and lead mesh shielding to protect the computers and telephone circuits in the event of a neutron bomb.

At about 2 PM on February 4th.,1991, manager Terry Brice was returning from a break with a can of cola and a cup of ice. In the hall, he passed one of the people with whom he had shared dreams. She seemed to be in a daze, a trance-like state, and did not respond to his greeting. Upon entering his office, Brice turned on his computer, poured the cola over the ice and his next conscious act was picking up a warm cola that had been watered down with melted ice, some two hours later. Brice recalled the following during a session with me:

"As I turned to look at the computer screen, I felt a little drowsy. I heard a humming sound in the background and it sounded like it was outside the building. Feeling like I was in a trance state, I saw the terminal, desk and the entire room turning sideways at a ninety degree angle. I feel as though I am being rotated and then levitated about four feet off the ground. Then I see the cubicles in the hallway and I realize I am floating. I see his body going into the wall and disappearing through it while a small, gray alien points a slender metallic object at him.

Now, a small, gray alien is bending over my face and as we look into each other's eyes our minds begin to merge. I am shown spacecraft, five in all. Three have landed on the south side of the building and two are in the air on the north. I am pressed for information about programming computers and telephone networks, but their real interest seems to be in how we store and transmit feelings, represent them as symbols, then invoke the feelings once again.

Next, I become aware that the aliens are touching me physically and removing my clothes. I don't like this and become angry. They acknowledge that I am angry but continue nonetheless. Only when I begin to circulate the internal energies learned in my study of Tai Chi do the aliens begin to back away.

.......(Later) I discover that all emergency power systems have failed and no mechanical problem can be found. Nonetheless, the uninterrupted power supply failed, the batteries failed and even the diesel back-up generator failed to produce power. A mysterious command issued by an unknown person had been entered in the log to turn off the logging events so no record of what happened would be recorded. This was in direct violation of security policy.

Coming out of the diesel generator for about eight feet are cables shielded in steel tubes, of which three or four feet had been mysteriously melted. The engineers could find no reason for this and state that the system does not have enough power to melt the cables.

I know that several people in the lead-shielded computer room were unable to leave because the power outage affected the doors. Those inside reported feeling highly anxious and had strange, mental images but none could remember what had happened. One of these people was committed to a mental hospital for observation a few weeks later by his employer. I began to question people about the previous day's events and everyone I talked to was vague about what they had done the previous afternoon. When I persisted in pointing out these differences, my colleagues became angry, defensive and refused to talk to me.

......(Later) I go outside and see that in the south lawn there were three circular patterns of dead grass: one is much larger containing a geometrical design. I go out to look at these and am told by security to return to the building and stay away from the site.

Over several weeks, landscape crews repeatedly put down new sod over the dead grass. The sod died each time and finally six to eight inches of earth was removed and new soil and sod were put in. At that point, the new grass began to grow but remains discolored to this day.

One final story I heard from another employee had to do with one of the security guards who brought a video tape to the Vice-President of Operations. The security area had a back-up power source for the video cameras and the event was recorded on tape. The security guard told the VP that the gray monsters were running amok in the office and he had the tape to prove it. He became belligerent with the executive who fired him and confiscated the tape. When I found the security guard and questioned him about the incident he denied it had ever happened, as did almost everyone by the second day. Even when I could point out the inconsistencies to them, they denied the inconsistencies existed."

One final note: Mr. Brice has been advised not to discuss any of this publicly and was later terminated by his company. Employees have repeatedly warned him not to talk about this incident. It is for this reason we have given him a pseudonym and have not given the names of the telecommunications companies involved--------------BOX The research and regression work on this case was done by the authors Daniel Trussell, Ph.D, and Robyn Andrews Quail, C.Ht.,D.D., partners in a hypnosis learning center.
