| SCI FI CAFE AND EARTH MYSTERIES MUSEUM, located at 532 N. Pine Street boosts the Economy of Burlington, Wisconsin by annually bringing thousands of people into the community in search of the 'unknown'. Burlington, Wisconsin , Once known as Chocolate City is now more popularly known as Wisconsin's hotspot for UFOs, the Parnormal and Mysticism. Thousands of people from around the nation now plan their vacation and daytrips by going to Burlington Wisconsin to experience the Mysteries of Burlington, Haunted Tours, Earthen Mounds, Underground Tunnels, Vortices, photographing ufos and having their photos taken as they jump through the dimensional realmsby Brad and Mary Sutherland. . Brad and Mary Sutherland are the owners of the Sci Fi Cafe and Earth Mysteries Museum, located at 532 N. Pine Street in historical downtown Burlington built on 27 burial mounds.. This most unique business is found at the old Burlington Hotel, once used as a 'Speak Easy' and frequented by Al Capone and his gang. Some say that Al Capone's ghost still haunt the halls of the old hotel and a network of underground tunnels run under its foundation! Driving around the historic district, one will notice the streets are not laid out in a grid pattern, running north to south and east to west, but are angled. The original town was built just like Washington D.C. creating a Star of David Pattern, two pyramids intersecting one another..one right side up and the other up side down. The research that Brad and Mary Sutherland are doing helps educate people on the 'mound builders', an ancient race that can be traced to the Atlantean culture and the biblical Enoch. The Sutherland's guide visitors to area where the famous 'Mormon Plates' were found by Prophet Strang. They demonstrate the gravitational anomalies as they show visitors the White River which runs against gravity and flows North out of town, while the Fox River flows South. | Is Burlington Construction Destroying our historical landmarks? Mary Sutherland According to Smithsonian Institute Records, along the White River is a series of ancient earthen mounds. These mounds today have been lost to the construction of the Burlington River Walk Project, which includes the Charcoal Grill and Boardwalk Apartments. The Earthen Mounds of Rochester Wisconsin Local historian Peter Laughran has lived in Rochester for 58 years.In 2002 he worked to help get Main St. designated as a local historic district. Brad Sutherland, Christy Westbrook and Mary Sutherland, met with Laughran for the purpose of recording and preserving the 'old stories' for the generations to come. - These stories included the earthen mounds and Native American Indians that made their homes in the area. In the above photo Laughran is pointing out on a map the locations of the old Indian trails running from Tichigan , Wisconsin, (known to the Indians as 'Healing Waters') , through this area of Burlington into Illinois. As he recollects, the old trail ran through the mound area. According to Mr. Laughran, the trail ran through a sector of Mr and Mrs. Edwin Ela's property. The photos you see on the left will provide you with our first trip to the Elas' property, located outside of Rochester, Wisconsin. Laughran remembers as a child the visits of the Potawamoni Indians to his grandparents home. They would bring fresh caught fish for trade with the family for some other goods. The local Indians, Potawatamis, called the mound builders the Yam-Ko-Desh meaning "the prairie people" To give you an idea of how many of moundbuilders populated this area, as the Indians migrated into the area, the legends tell of finding the population of Priaire People living there "thicker than the leaves on a tree". It is believed that the Ottawas, Ojibwas, and Potawatamis formed an alliance to exterminate them. Even the native Indians claimed not to know much about who these people were. . | SUICIDE AND PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS A list of some prescription medications for which concerns have been raised involving suicidal thoughts and actions: —All antidepressants. Drugs such as Prozac, Paxil, Wellbutrin and Zoloft carry required warnings that the medications can increase suicidal thinking and behavior in some children, adolescents and young adults. —Anticonvulsives. Drugs such as Depakote, Lyrica and Neurontin are used to treat seizures and other conditions. A recent FDA analysis found a small increased risk of suicidal thinking and behavior. An advisory panel recommended against applying the agency's strongest warning to the drugs. —Chantix. The FDA is investigating whether the smoking cessation drug triggers psychiatric symptoms. —Singulair. The FDA is investigating whether the drug for asthma and allergies can prompt suicidal thoughts. —Accutane. The acne drug carries a warning that it may cause suicidal thoughts and behavior in rare cases. |

GOV. SARAH PALIN - ALASKA Shocking Choice by John McCain WASHINGTON-- Senator John McCain just announced his choice for running mate: Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska. To follow is a statement by Rodger Schlickeisen, president of Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund. "Senator McCain's choice for a running mate is beyond belief. By choosing Sarah Palin, McCain has clearly made a decision to continue the Bush legacy of destructive environmental policies. "Sarah Palin, whose husband works for BP, has repeatedly put special interests first when it comes to the environment. In her scant two years as governor, she has lobbied aggressively to open up the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to drilling, pushed for more drilling off of Alaska's coasts, and put special interests above science. Ms. Palin has made it clear through her actions that she is unwilling to do even as much as the Bush administration to address the impacts of global warming. Her most recent effort has been to sue the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to remove the polar bear from the endangered species list, putting Big Oil before sound science. As unbelievable as this may sound, this actually puts her to the right of the Bush administration. “This is Senator McCain’s first significant choice in building his executive team and it’s a bad one. It has to raise serious doubts in the minds of voters about John McCain’s commitment to conservation, to addressing the impacts of global warming and to ensuring our country ends its dependency on oil.” ### The Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund (www.defendersactionfund.org) provides a powerful voice in Washington to Americans who value our conservation heritage. She says that it is to surround herself with intelligent people. He asks how she knows if they're intelligent. "I do so by asking them the right questions," says the Queen. "Allow me to demonstrate." She phones Tony Blair and says, "Mr. Prime Minister. Please answer thisquestion: Your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not your brother or sister. Who is it?" He summons Jesse Helms to the White House and says, "Senator Helms, I wonder if you can answer aquestion for me." "Why, of course, sir. What's on your mind?" "Uhh, your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not your brother or yoursister. Who is it?" Helms hems and haws and finally asks, "Can I think about it and get back to you?" Bush agrees, and Helms leaves. Helms immediately calls a meeting of other senior Republican senators, and they puzzle over the question for several hours, but nobody can come up with an answer. Finally, in desperation, Helms calls Colin Powell at the State Department and explains his problem. "Now lookee here, son, your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not your brother or your sister. Who is it?" Powellanswers immediately, "It's me, of course, you dumb cracker." Much relieved, Helms rushes back to the White House and exclaims, "I know the answer, sir! I know who it is! It's Colin Powell!" And Bush replies in disgust, "Wrong, it's Tony Blair." |
