We keep arguing over the same concepts every couple of years.

From the perspective of cognitive scientists George Lakoff, concepts of infinity in mathematics and the sciences are metaphors, based on what they term the Basic Metaphor of Infinity (BMI), namely the ever-increasing sequence <1,2,3,...>.

Infinity is a metaphor and can be manipulated in various ways mathematically.

The only reason there is a set of natural numbers, i.e. the only reason there is an infinite set, is that it is assumed (the axiom of infinity). AFAIK there is no way to prove that there is a set N such that x is in N iff x is a natural number.

the definitional parameters of the set concept are not well formed.

Truth is the state of the status quo encapsulating both the objective and the subjective eye of the beholder.

Individual self stands in contrast to the continuum of all possible selves.

Hopefully At1with0 will be able to figure out how to get his rich self from the Richie Rich universe to cross the impassible gulf between universes into this universe, in order to give him his desperately sought after prize.

The pot of gold argument just shows that not every conceivable event occurs somewhere in the multiverse.

Actually you mentioned the pot of gold argument just off the top of your head in an insincere fashion. You never really seriously meditated on the pot of gold nor did you ever work on your powers of concentration, so why should you stand out amongst the infinite number of other at1with0's?

What makes you so special and deserving of that pot of gold?
