Five arms companies are now refusing to sell to N.Y. state until the gun ban is lifted.

Shame, but they have to make a statement, and that's coming from a Californian.
War is an extension of economics and diplomacy through other means.

Economics and diplomacy are methods of securing resources used by humans.

Securing resources is the one necessary behavior for all living things.

Perfectly sound logic... If civilians can't buy them why should the govt? Hopefully the majors join the cause.
