Any information that is leaked from an insider, is going to be subjected of misinformation and disinformation campaigns by the intelligence services, private corporations, and no doubt the media.

This makes verification of any potentially genuine information extremely difficult. The only way to verify this leaked information is to withhold certain essential and core parts of it. This will act as a buffer and also an anchor. Further, secrecy is important to obtain some verification through the FOIA, of some key points such as location, facilities mentioned etc. This will help to see through the fog.

Much of what is printed about UFO conspiracies, aliens etc is certainly going to be subject to inferences by interested parties who have something to gain from the confusion.
