Hope you all had a great Turkey Day with friends and family, we had a wonderful day with John and his Bride to be soon, families home. It was really fun, with about 25 people, who all brought their dogs, 7 total. All the dogs got along, and were the cutest dogs. All mostly house dogs, small lap dogs, but they were all very cute. Sabrena's family is a very warm and wonderful group, we all had a really nice day. Her grandparents really remind Mrs. G2 and me of her Grandma and Grandpa, lovingly called Nana and Poppa. They in many ways are alot like them.

John has taken on the task of cooking turkey every year, and her family makes a great traditional pork roast with all the trimmings, a tradition for their family on holidays. And boy is it good.

John has become quite the Turkey chef, doing his Grandmother proud, who would have loved his. His Turkey was just right, moist and tasty, came out perfect. No easy task when you make it at home and have to transport it 25 miles to where the party was. Everyone brought something, Mrs. G2 made here famous whole cranberries, that were a big hit. Deserts galore from cakes to pies, and we brought a assorted flavor cheesecake, that got devoured.

Meanwhile, daughter, son in Law, and Granddaughter did a once in a lifetime thing. As Disneyland annual premium pass holders, got special invitation for the Special Disneyland hotel Thanksgiving Buffet, held in the Disneyland Grand Ballroom. Took a 3 week process to get accepted, but the most extravagant Buffet, hands down. She said even the Belagio Buffet is not the quality of this. Everything imaginable, the ballroom is huge, 5 complete stations and seating for about 5000 people. Special waiting room with drinks and snacks, they actually were seated well ahead of time. You have literally hours to just take your time and enjoy. The kids have special kids buffets and desert buffets, and all the disney characters for them to play with. She said it was really spectacular, elegant, and the food quality was A1+. Well worth the money, and it wasn't cheap. With their passes, they get free parking, and also 10% discount at all the restraunts. If we can we already talked about trying to do it next year.
