Did anybody else catch this? I was absolutely dumb-struck watching the news on NBC... with the video of the broken ice bridge that appeared like perfectly squared-off, massive, floating blocks of styrofoam?

Please watch the story of the collapse of the Antarctic Ice Bridge from NBC's Nightly News 4/6/09 titled "Satellites show Arctic literally on thin ice" and tell me how this happens? A 25 mile long ice bridge broken apart at perfect ninety-degree angles and fault lines that broken off, clean as a whistle?

IS THIS A NATURAL OCCURANCE??? YEAH RIGHT!

Pretty good actually. You would have to take a physics and a chemistry class to understand why though.

Sorry I don't have a pic of it but when I was in the artic (this was in the 1980's) I observed several icebergs, that had calved off a glacier about 50 miles from where I was, which were the shape of giant sugar cubes. The biggest one I saw was, at the time, locked in the winter sea ice. The visible portion was slightly taller than it was wide but the width and breadth were as equal as one could tell without actually measuring it and the corners were right angles. It was as if it was a 6 storey white office building sitting on top of the sea ice (of course 10 times as much existed below the ice pan).

I thought it might be possible to see a 90 deg break ,but then again i also assumed that ice broke at it's weakest point and if that was true it would make the story even more intriguing..

Okay, well the rest of the world just seems to want to ignore this? I don't get it? I contacted Linda Moulten Howe, Richard Hoagland, everyone at Coast to Coast and a big fat NADA from all of them!
Really, what's up with that? Isn't it their job to question these things? Isn't that what they are there for?
If this was deliberate, then it is a HUGE deal and one they should be screaming about!
