I was just looking at the Monsterquest pics of the Big Black Cat inthe back yard when it occured to me suddenly that measuring the cats size from a couple angles would be easy. What we have as a yard stick is field grass in the foreground and background. By measuring the average width of the grass (so many pixels=so many millimeters) in the pics that is close to the cat we can get a very good estimate of its size. The problem is I haven't found the pics on web tomake this approximation. I'm guessing a centimeter per blade at the most is likely without going on site.

Haven't seen much on this, wish I knew more of what you
were talkin about.

Big Black Cats are exactly what the name suggests are large black felines somewhere around Mountain Lion to 7ft that keep getting spotted. They were originally a British concern (Black Beast of Exmoor episode) , but they apparently are in North America as well (possibly another species of them?).

note every 20 years or so Mountain Lions are seen crossing through my state I'm guessing into the Appalachians where the eastern Puma used to live. I wouldn't be surprised if a big black cat gets spotted around here.
