What occurred next was not clear. Ms. Carey managed to get out of the car, and was shot by several officers. According to a law enforcement official, she was not armed, and it was not known whether she presented an immediate danger.
The authorities took her to a hospital, and she was pronounced dead.

Regardless of the narrative of the Liberal media, and all of the things you will read about this incident in the coming days and weeks, this is something that should disturb you. At this point in the pursuit she was no longer behind the wheel of the vehicle, and therefore their argument that the vehicle was the weapon is null and void. Shooting her to death was the last thing they should have done. They could have used non-lethal force at this point, such as a tazer or gang tackling her to the ground. An arrest could have easily been made here. Perhaps then law enforcement could have questioned her, but no, they murdered her. I don't care what she did up to this point, there was no justification for lethal force at this point.
