Heavy Metal is what everyone called Sabbath and Zeppelin, broseph.

Remember? We went down that road a while ago.

Hell, the term heavy metal was around WAY before AC/DC even thought about coming into the mix. Iron Butterfly's album "Heavy" and Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild" lyrics are some of the first known uses of the term.
Rolling Stone Magazine was the first to actually describe the term as an off-branch of Rock in 1968.

When did AC/DC come around? 1973? :lol: :lol: :lol:

No, buddy. Heavy Metal is what you call the genre of rock that gets rid of most of its Blues-based beats. No one calls an Australian band Heavy Metal because they're Australian.

Glam Rock is huge hair, lots of make-up, and extravagant stage shows with little emphasis on complicated and thought provoking songs. Bowie would be an exception, but your pretty much dead-on with Aerosmith.

Queen =/= Glam Rock.

Queen is just regular rock N' roll.

Talking of Killing AC/Crap C:

The colour of your blood from your open body
Is all I wanted to see
Tasting the blood from your lips as you die
Means satisfaction to me
Pleasure to kill

:roll:

Iron Butterfly STILL had an album called "Heavy", Steppenwolf's lyrics STILL reference Heavy Metal, and Sabbath and Zeppelin were STILL called Heavy Metal before AC/DC thought of forming.

Heavy Metal is STILL a genre without blues beats, still a genre with heavily distorted guitars, still a genre with faster drum tempos, and still something you call ANY band with those types of characteristics.

You don't call an Aussie band Heavy Metal just because they're Aussie, and you're STILL a tool.
