You're wrong.

We gave the world Chuck Berry and Elvis Presley which inspired The Beatles. Through Chuck Berry, you got your precious AC/DC.

Chuck Berry was inspired by OUR Blues guitarists.

You never HAD blues singers. No one did. That was OUR thing. Robert Johnson, Bessie Smith, and Muddy Waters were the ones that paved the way for Rock N' Roll and HEY! They were American. Dry your tears little one, it's alright.

Rock N' Roll all came together in the United States and England polished it into a permanent place in music history.

Also, if you want to say they stole blues from Africa you'd be wrong. They brought spirituals over and those spirituals evolved into the blues.

Who said anything about inventing music as a whole? We're talking about a genre here.

That's the trouble with you. You have such a difficult time actually listening to what people are saying.

Maybe you should go back to English 100 before trying to have a conversation with the adults, huh kiddo?

would you call that rock and roll?

probably not

That's what's called a spiritual, eventually those evolved into this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDCNbacV ... r_embedded

Some people decided to add a bit of country to this and speed it up some

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1n9yv ... fire_music

Which gave life to bands like, your favorite

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x56czi ... 05-1_music

Do you notice the similarity in all this music? If you know the first thing about playing popular music you will notice they all center around one basic thing, chord structure. See, what gives blues that bluesy feel is the same thing which gives rock the rock feel. If you play guitar it's an L shaped chord structure, also known as 1, 3, 5. Say you're playing a song in F (what ac/dc plays "the jack" in) you'd be playing B flat and C in a basic blues. You'll hang on F and B and throw in a C when you're ready for turnaround or chours. It's all very basic and it all evolved in America.

Say you had a cake and you bought all the ingredients from England but then you brought them back home and made a cake at your house. Would you say you made the cake in England?

well say i go to my local shop in Australia & buy Australian clams, then make a big pot of .... New England clam chowder.

I wouldent re-name it Australian clam chowder, would i.

How about if i went to KFC.

In Australia we have KFC, kentucky fried chicken, but we didnt re-name it Aussie fried chicken did we.

Even tho kentucky is no were near Australia.

Im not going to stop eating Black forest cake coz i dont live near the black forest.

It's all very basic and it all evolved in America.

Like i said .......... you cant re-right history, takeing something from another culture & re-naming it dont make it yours.

Are you really trying to tell me that the string instruments' is also an American invention ........ coz that would just take the cake.

This is an Egyptian bow harp taken from Egyptian mural drawings and is with some probability the ancestor of modern harps. This is from the IV Dynasty - 3000 BC

what about a lyre from the Mosaic Standard of UR. The piece is from 2600 BC

how about, classical music.

The violin ((( Wolfgang Mozart )))

OR the harp.

It's all very basic and it all evolved in America.

Yhe & you think coz you re-name a genre from easten or middle easten or trible to ROCK N ROLL it means the usa invented music or a genre of music.

Grow up.

if you keep takeing things from other cultures & then re-nameing them in a lame attempt to make it look like the USA has contributed something ........ then where will it stop.

Lol.

You still don't know what you're talking about. It's even more hilarious because you're putting in SO much effort trying to prove yourself right when really you're just making an idiot out of yourself.

Here, I'll give you a freebie. Explain how middle eastern music and tribal music had ANY effect on the outcome of Rock and Roll?

Protip: The blues and jazz were born in the US, so try a different route sparky.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Taking credit for English now? Please. Try again, killer. While you're at it, work on your reading comprehension and sentence structure. Maybe you can pass yourself off as a respectable poster at some point in your life.
