Yes the USA should do something, but as far as I'm concerned boots on the ground are not one of them. Sanctions and diplomacy, negotiations, military support only to the extent of aiding with supplies, and humanitarian aid. If you want to preach for help, maybe its time some countries in Europe should let their troops go in and get shot at. Seems like this problem is right on the doorstep of European countries, most of which criticize US involvement in anything military. Until its in their backyard, they want our help. The United States is on every forefront of aggression from the middle east to Africa, Somolia, Libya, and how are we treated for it? Moral support and token involvement of coalition forces has amounted to next to nothing, while we count our dead kids. Its time Europe gets its own hand dirty on this one, and not expect the USA to sink Billions and thousands of troops, already fighting battles in other places.
Not just a few days ago, a Sgt Major was killed in action, who was one of the troops who rescued Pvt. Lynch in Iraq in 2003. The world expects our men and woman to live indefinitely in a state of war, while their contribution is zero. What do you expect from USA troops, when so many countries declare themselves neutral, and just go about their lives not caring. We do not have a draft, and the result is asking men like this Sgt. Major to serve way beyond what duty calls, for who and what? So other nations can just say "Not us", well this Ukraine problem is right in the laps of Europe, so tell them to saddle up and go fight the Russians, and this time we will give the moral support.
you keep talking about money.we can always print more in the form of quantitative easing.
it will good for business.jobs will be created.war stimulates the economy.
we will create more millionaires and billionaires.
you talk about troops being killed.so what .that is what they are for.they signed on the dotted line.the government owns them.
think of the advantages of supporting ukrine.
we can threaten the russikis from across the border.
we can put them in their proper place.at the bottom of the pile.
do you know they still Que for bread?
the russians have been a thorn in our side for decades.its time for payback.
they are clearly evil as confirmed by president ronald reagan who said they are an evil empire.
i am sick and tired of being bullied by muhammed, vladimer and abdula on the planet.its time we stood up to bullies.
we are clearly the good guys.
