Can one of you fine BV participants please tell me how to load music into my profile?


I have been unsuccesful up to now in this area. I have some real good tunes I 'd like to share. Maybe give you guys a better perspective into my likes. maybe get rid of this arrogant shadow that keeps following me.

Where do you want to load your music from?
I`ve only downloaded mine and then uploaded them form my computer.

Dunno if it works copying and pasting the net-adress you want to choose your music from if that is where you want it from.

Go to

Click my profile. Then scroll down and click the spanner.

A white screen should open up. Click browse. Then this file you want. Fill out the tgs and things then upload.

Done.

I have no problem uploading profile music. It just does not show up in the profile. It shows Pending in the music uploader. I can even play them out of the Uploader, but there is still nothing in the player in the profile. Does this with everything I've tried to upload.

I've looked at the Boonex Dolphin FAQ and there are some posts about this happening with IE and mp3s, and some posts about files over 2mb, but I've tried Firefox, wav files and and small files under 2mb and still get the pending flag, with nothing in the profile player.

This sounds like a server side issue, but I do see other members who have managed to get music uploaded to their profiles. Is there a trick, or is this a server side problem?

No , I have no idea what to do here.

I think I need to rip onto my computer first , then burn onto the profile? I don't know.Haven't had my cds around to try it.

I was trying to download stuff from online, and it wouldn't work. I saw over the weekend if I use my media player, I can rip em off the cds then post. I think?

Looks like an administrator needs to "Approve" uploaded music to remve the pending flag. I guess nobody has been doing that for a while.
