Well yes, nothing is ever perfect.
I know DNA replicates properly because of the way nature operates. It's been around for so long, the only way that would be possible is if DNA replicates in offspring properly, otherwise we'd all be mutants.
Now, whether or not we are eventually able to do it as good as it's done in nature, I don't know, but I suspect eventually we probably will.
