I posted this question on yahoo answers but alot of people are trollin it so i figured I saw what your guys opinions were on this.. This happened about two nights ago. And no Im not making this up..

Last night around 4am I started to fade into sleep when I was startled by this bright white flash that for about a second made the TV I was watching become static and began to feel something in my head, like a very very slight pressure, when suddenly it was like I was thrown into sleep and I could not awake, like i was hallucinating and everything was in real time and the experience only lasted 40 minutes. I knew from the beginning that I was being attacked but I didn't know from what. I attempted to wake myself dozens of times only for me to be able to open my eyes for a breif second. Like it was forcing me back into this weird dream state. Everything was real though.

You know how in dreams you cant feel what happens to you, well in this dream I felt everything to feeling seeing someone lick me and feeling it and someone grabbing my foot and I felt it, all in real time. It was not a dream though, At many times I was unable to tell the difference from real life and the "dream" state. I remember it trying to attack me while in bed and i remember getting up running out of my room to my parents room ( Im 18 and still living with them ) attempting to scream help but for some reason I was only able to whisper when I unleashed a powerful scream only to relise i could not awake my mother but step father had awoken and attempted to awake my mother. When suddenly my mother grabbed me and started saying things.. lets just say not of this world... evil things and then attempted to do something sexual... this is all very very disturbing and i remember trying to awake myself only to be thrown back into this state and where I was back in bed and this thing was gropeing me.. He started saying he wanted me to let me in and I tried to pray but it was like it was preventing me, and it started laughing at me. everytime the thing touched me i felt it, when I started praying some more saying multiple our fathers and hail marys when it rapidly started attacking me and saying something along the lines of let me in or give me your soul.. and I Remember screaming Never on the top of my lungs and abruptly I was able to be awake.

Then I look down at the clock and only about 35 minutes have passed and everything in the dream like state was in real time. I have a very strong relationship with god.. and when I was a little boy I would have similiar experiences but not of this magnitude standard stuff like my bed would violently shake, I would hear very deep breathing right next to my head and held my breath and was able to hear it breathe still.. Last year I also supposedly had stage three osteosarcoma... by some miracle every single inch of cancer disappeared a week before radiation therapy and the medical community is still baffled, and it was obvious devine intervention.. Now as for my mother she has had this unknown illness for the past 10 years and has been rapidly deteriorating and says from time to time she had the same experiences I have had... But Im not going to go into it but when she was little the virgin mary came to her, and from my grandmothers lips she said that my mother started to glow.. My relationship with god is very very personal and ive had similiar experiences on the divine level. But was this another attempt on my soul.. Seriously need help.

I'll give you my quick two cents. Some dreams can seem very real. Sometimes dreams can be a message, but more often than not, a dream is usually just a dream. I will say this though, if one is truly a Christian, they can not be possessed, oppressed maybe but not possessed, because the Holy Spirit is in them. Their body is a temple of God and greater is He that is in them than he who is in the world. The Bible says resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Very interesting story OP, and it reminds me of a similar type dream I had decades ago.

I think you were being attacked or oppressed by evil spirits, and the closer you get to God , and the more you do for Him, the more Satan and his demons wish to stop you, especially if you are instrumental in bringing souls to the mercy of Christ.

Also , there is much more practice of the occult with young adults of your age group, and many are dabbling in the dark arts, and causing things such as you described through their rituals .

Remember to ask St Michael the archangel to intercede for you, as well as asking for the protection of your guardian angel. I'm not sure if you have ever heard of Padre Pio , who was canonized a saint at the beginning of this century, but he went through some terrible attacks by the devil. One of his sayings was this.

“Have courage and do not fear the assaults of the Devil. Remember this forever; it is a healthy sign if the devil shouts and roars around your conscience, since this shows that he is not inside your will”. Padre Pio

Two questions, how old are you? And, are you a Christian.

I know you said your relationship with God is personal but, what is that relationship founded on? If it is not founded solely on Jesus Christ, it is of little use. You can pray to saints or angels all day long, it will not help. I don't know what this thing about Mary visiting was about but, she can't help you either. You can rely on the dogma of Church traditions and the superstitions of man that go along with it but, you will get no where if this is an actual demonic attack.

The only hope there is, is for you to take the authority that Christ has given His followers. In Him and in His Name we have authority over demons. Even Satan himself has to obey our command that he leave us alone when we tell him to. In the Name of Jesus is all power and authority. If you need help with this, you will need to go to a Church that understands this power and authority. You do not need a priest or exorcist to get rid of demons. You can do that yourself. You may need some help in learning how to do it. I would suggest you go to a good pentecostal Church that is familiar with the spiritual aspects of Christianity, and not just the philosophical. The Assembly of God Church is a good place to start.

I am not affiliated with any denomination, so don't think I am trying to get you to join any. I am familiar with most denominations and know where to go for what you need. Some will give you a deeper understanding of God's word. Some can give you the comfort of ritual practices if that is what you seek. But, what you need now is the ones that are familiar with spiritual activity, and the things demons do to God's people. I hope this helps. If you need more just ask.

Sorry , but you are incorrect in saying the intercessory prayer of St Michael and our guardian angels will not help, as well as the intercessory prayer of saints. All of these saints as well as the angels ALL bow to Jesus, and pray to Jesus in the Holy Trinity, so it is like many praying to Jesus for us, and those many are of of higher spiritual understanding than we are, so it is very relevant that they help with matters of this sort.

What some of you protestants fail to understand is the power of intercessory prayer. Its all prayer to the Holy Trinity through the blood atonement of Jesus , but at different levels of spiritual understanding, as well as merit. You are being very unwise if you do not acknowledge the power St . Michael has in intercessory prayer having to do with Satan. After all it was he who had the job of escorting Satan out of the realms of heaven. St . Michael serves Jesus Christ, as he serves all three parts of the Holy trinity.

Please , please understand what intercession is and the difference of praying with someone or through them, as opposed to praying to them.

This is way to strange.. Well the illness that I faced was stage three osteosarcoma which has a 90% mortality rate in adults and 99% in children... I am 18 years old now and 16 at the time of the illness... The only reason I am still breathing today when the doctors told me 6 months is because of the intervention of padre pio. My crucifix was blessed at his shrine along with my t shirt, I performed a ritual to padre pio and the whole story is quite amazing. That my cancer was literally able to transform by divine intervention. The medical community is baffled to this day. I accredited my recovery to the sole intervention of padre pio, jesus christ, and god. Since I was a young child I had very dark experiences like the bed shaking, hearing breathing, unknown cuts, and the only thing that made these things go away even at that very young age which I want to say was about 6 was praying to St Micheal and jesus. I would literally pray and all evil would stop. And as for my relationship with god. It has always been personal... I am a roman catholic by the way.. I really dont feel like being labeled as a crazed psychitzophrenic since I am quite normal. Im going to college next year party school going to play football and baseball most likely, always had friends, and never had any sort of abnormal behaivors. But I want to say from the time I was 12-13, and believe me i have told very very few people about this in fear of being labeled.. But I fear not what is unseen.. so anyway from about the age of 12-13 god.. or what i believed to be god spoke to me. And as a child I evem doubted myself, testing him to see if he was true, which I know should not be done but by the grace everytime I tested him it would come true. Heads or Tails, Knowledge of the unknown before it happened like songs on the radio that I would think of a song and no joke that song came on either the next song or the song after 10 out of 10 times he was right. Since 13 though I have not spoken to him but the last thing he said to me is that He will speak again to me when I am ready and I have not heard from him since. Idk what is my purpose yet though I am getting an idea that it is something big.. Not many 18 year olds have been threw everything I have been threw. But that is basically my relationship with god.. and i remember in church while one of the prayers were being told and at 13 years old he spoke to me annd said this is what you are. and as sure and night is night and day is day the whole church said He has spoken through the prophets. At 13 I did not even know what that meant and I later whent home and actually had to look up what that meant. And to this day I am still baffled how that was possible.

If you needed to talk to the President of the U.S. and you had full and immediate access to the oval office, why would you ask one of his secretaries to take a message to him?

If you are can enter into the presence of God and speak to Him personally and directly, why would you ask any lesser being to take a message to Him? That is what the atonement of Christ does. It allows us direct access to the presence of God. We can do that ourselves. When we become servants of Christ, He places Himself in us, and us in Him. It is in Him that we stand constantly in the presence of God. The problem with Catholics is they rely too heavily on priests and others to communicate with God for them. In Christ we are a nation of kings and priests. Each and every Christian is a priest. We do not need others to intercede for us, Christ is the intercessor and He is in us.

What a wonderful testimony , and you should send that story in to the testimonials of the websites dedicated in honor of Padre Pio. His intercessory power is no joke, and neither is the intercession of Our Blessed Mother as well as the angels and other saints. There was an atheist doctor in italy , who after witnessing such a powerful miracle as you have just described , through the intercession of Padre Pio, decided to put a crucifix in every room of the hospital.

From your story , it seems that God may have a special plan for you, so keep your heart united with the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and be ready and willing to listen and obey His will for your life. May the Holy Spirit bless you , and protect you , so that you may do the loving Divine will of Our Father in heaven, through the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you for sharing your story, and once again I urge you to pray daily for protection, and I too will keep you in my prayers. Like I mentioned before , often the devil attacks those who he knows have been designated for the purpose of prophecy , and their roles in bringing back souls to Christ, whether it is through prayer, sacrifice, preaching the word, or prophecy.

Let me try and explain it to you this way. Its like a child who wants to ask a favour of their father, but this child knows that he has not always listened well to his father, so he decides to go ask his brothers, and his mother to come along with him. Some of his brothers have listened and obeyed their father much better than he, and his mother has always been good and kind, and he knows the father loves and adores her so much because of this. This child knows that if these good brothers , and this loving mother of his ,plead for him ,on his behalf, the chances of his father granting him the favour are much more likely.

As far as the angels and St Michael, they are spiritually higher beings than humans, and we will be conducted by them in heaven. Those angels who chose to stay and serve God, never faltering and being obedient, have never sinned against God like we humans have, and they very much want to help us in our service to God, as well as protect and guide us, which is why God designated each and every soul their very own angel.

I do understand your line of thinking, and quite honestly Halfabo, the FACT that we both believe that Jesus is the path and way to salvation is the most important . That is what ALL the saints, our guardian angels, and all the choirs of Holy angels believe as well . We can agree to disagree peacefully, on other issues, with love in our hearts for each other, and with praise and thanksgiving that Jesus died for all of our sins, and that we both strongly believe that, and praise God and thank Him for that fact.
