Had a fun family day..trying to get stuff in before we move away
Yet..now drinking beer(te very day after I publically denounce it..ain't that how it always goes)..I blaim my temptation minded H (but that is BS..I talked him into it as much as he, me)
But we only bought beer and didn't buy much(for us). Hey..it's been two and a half weeks.

My granddad surved in WW2. Parents as kids, experienced the blitz (London)
I have heard their stories over and over, over the years.
My H, when I met him he was in the army..and he works with a-lot of guys who have served. Both my brothers served infantry in the first Iraq war in the early nineties. My H's best friend has served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. My best friend's h is in the Navy reserves..he was in Iraq for a year.

I have two nephews in the military. (one Navy/subs the other Army Infantry in Korea)
One of my best friends has a son in the Navy..serving on a ship over by Asia
You could say.my fate is somehow mixed up with the military..my families fate, anyway

Why does the Navy not let crazy people near their nuclear arsenals? (Tried to enter in 2008...going for intelligence officer but they denied me on account of multiple 5150's...they said to try the army, which I did not...)

i think ti might be the crazy bit..they are scared you might get all crazy and press the button..and you are smart enough that you would figure out a way to overide any and all safety locks and such

The thing is..I have met people who have passed usch sanity tests..and believe me..some of those guys are f-ing CRAZY
There needs to be a different way to juedge certain epople for certain jobs, at least
I do believe, that if you got on their radar..and they saw your mad skills..and felt you could hold it together..they'd want you on their payroll for sure.
but then..with your..I am reailzing... deep sense of social conscience..you might not want to be on it

I think you are going about it in the wrong way..trying to get to them via military or law enorfement..when you should be going at them via technical skills and intelligence skills

If you got a job in the tech field and excelled you would eventually get noticed..I think(geeze you are in /near Bill Gates land..why not try there?)

My brother, my eldest brother works in research for a University..AI stuff, I believe.
he got the job after being a student and then a teacher there..they saw his skills and took him form there on.

Maybe you could go back to school and go into the computer field offically take soem classes..allwo your skills to get noticed

My brother didn't get on board with all this until he was in his forties (he didn't start college until his late thirties..late bloomer) and now he is very respected within his group..I think you could do something similar

I like not having a job and am accustomed to the lack of income.

I also sent my resume to the NSA about ten years ago when I was just about finishing graduate school. No reply. And Google had a puzzle that I solved and I sent them my resume; no replies.

I haven't given up on finding a job, I've decided to stop looking. I know I could get re-hired back at any of the colleges where I've worked and make good money for less than 20 hours of work per week. Like more than triple what I get now.

There, now how's that for a stupid answer?
