The health system in the US is appaling. First, you have to have insurance to get any care beyond emergency care and even then you don't get very good care. Second, you don't get to find out the price of the product until after you buy it. Third, the health care providers fraudulently bill, re-bill, and just keep billing you for services already paid for. Fourth, health care providers bill both you and your insurance company. Fifth, insurance companies conspire to deny you health care you should get and you paid for. Sixth, you get bills from providers that no one can decipher. Even basic accounting rules required by law for every other industry are ignored. Seventh, the health care profession is rife with quacks, some connected to scam enterprises.

I haven't mentioned the drug companies.

Republicans want to kill Obama-care and that is fine, because it didn't fix anything anyway. But, they need to come up with something that actually does fix health care. The country is going to go bankrupt if something isn't done. Social security, Medicare, Medicaid, and the defense budget make up most of the US budget which raises the national debt by alarming amounts every year. It's time to fix this!
