Well had to let my hair down this last weekend and have a little fun.
Don't go out very often at all. But I had a nice time with some of my
girlfriends this weekend and had a couple friends over on Friday.
Thought I'd share the pictures for the heck of it. And if you ever
have a wild weekend or just pics of fun, share!









We don't drink much if we go out, so we were much
more intoxicated taking pictures at the house. hehe

With this last picture prolly being the worst and most telling.
Who wears sunglasses in the house and takes a picture like
they are falling over!!?? Its just a ridiculous picture.

The cards you can see on the table, well Alicia is a gay friend of mine- lets just say
playing poker with her, she wants your clothes off, she forgets about
the money.

Ha..you guys look like you're having a good time.

Hey yah..long time..no post...I am finally here in your Minnesota..as you might have noticed I made an arrangement with mother nature..she gave me a nice fall to have time to assimilate..we're buds...so if you were wondering why the weather has been SO fricken nice..you can thank me. (could be joking..could be delusional..you decide)

We left Sept 27 and got here Oct. 2..moved in on the 5th.

The ride out here was great the whole way weather was great (per arrangement)
we took it slow..about five hours a day driving..slept in hotels/motels that took pets (H set that up beforehand)
Hubby drove up front with our son..I drove in back with the animals.

It went amazingly smoothly.

Utah and western Colorado are AMAZING. For those who aren't far, I highley reccomend the drive through Utah and Colorado east/west on the 70..WOW..beautiful

It's been a cool adventure..but lots of work and stress...packing..unpacking (which I am still in the middle of) setting up life anew..wow.

So far, liking it here..even if the streets are convaluted (it reminds me of Buffalo, NY and the Chicagoland area)

getting prepared to freeze my azz off..as I have noticed a bit of a change in the weather the last day or two (the lingering leaves are now dropping like flies..and old Moty Python sketch comes to mind)and I might even be smelling some snow in the air? Feels like it might happen within two or three weeks?

It's so funny this kind of place is so alien to me because I had lived in So-Cal since 96..but it's also so familiar because before So-Cal I lived in New York state for ten years..plus, most of my youth was spent in hte Midwest..Kansas City, Kansas..then Chicago, Illiois..

life comes full circle. (on ht eway here I actually saw a highway sign that only had Minneapolis, Chicago and Kansas City written on it..wanted to swipe it and keep it SO Bad)

When my buddy and I went to race Pikes Peak, we took the 15 to the 70 twards Denver, but a few years took a long route that went through a lot of places you miss on the Interstate 70. Backcountry roads that were really Spectacular. We spent one day in Leadville, the highest elevation city in the USA. 11,000 feet. From there was spent a day up over 13,000 feet in an old mining road, so we could jet the race bike for high altitude. The Glenwood Springs Highway has to be one of the most beautiful highways on 70, and in the nation.

Glade you made it safe and sound, better watch for a few sales on showshovels.

Bionic, sorry I didn't respond earlier. I've been fairly busy believe it or not.
Even had a surprise visit today by my father- he must have sensed I let my guard down
a minute and had a lil wild moment, not to his liking whatsoever, but the visit was still

Those winds we had here a couple nights ago were pretty strong..
Bits of rain, no snow yet, but I think you picked a great time to move here,
this winter will be very mild, like the fall has been.

Was wondering how things were going for you, so thanks for letting us all
know that the move has been good!

Ya sorry, been pretty busy outside of here.
Been reading up still just not alot of time to post.
