Only people who stand to gain participate in politics nowadays. That's the problem. People want rights but are seldom motivated to do anything about it. And if only those who are gaining are participating then they have no incentive to give anybody any rights. Whether its the feudal system, communism or so-called republics, politics is about power (and money). The U.S. used to be a republic but is not seen as such today, by Americans or outsiders as you see. "executive president style"? That smacks of anti-corporatism but I understand the attitude. When things get bad enough people will start to participate.
Americans' rights are routinely swept aside in favor of rampant illegal immigration. The US imports decrepit, and usually pregnant, run down losers who go on welfare the moment they enter the country. I can't understand why we are importing these people!? And from all over the world. Indians have taken over the town where I live. They have 1 family member with a job and 5 without, yet they still keep coming. Not to mention that every US corp now employs Indians almost exclusively for telephone contact even when they can't speak no English. I just got a message on my machine today, couldn't understand a word other than "Chase" and I don't have any Chase accounts. "Mumble, Mumble, Mumble, Chase, Mumble, Mumble, call us immediately at, Mumble, Mumble. This is to inform you of Mumble, Mumble, Mumble. You must respond by Mumble, Mumble, Mumble or you will receive a penalty Mumble, Mumble."
KMA Apu!
