Are they accurate? I went to a palm reader today, she only asked my name and she gave me what seemed to be an accurate description of my feelings and other cool stuff. What do you have to say?

Most people don't take this subject seriously.

But those who have studied the matter a little can add this: while most "professional" palm readers are merely masters at reading body language and so on and possess no psychic ability whatsoever--there have been cases that defy explanation.

Mostly however, it is the use of the technique called "cold reading" that provides the bread and butter for the thousands of frauds out there.

Agreed. These guys are just skilled con artists. They're talented at reading the pantomime.

I think the ones that hit on stuff more often than not might be at least a bit psychic..whether they realize it about themselves or not.

This makes me think of all the people that think they are really psychic..really believe it about themselves..and they are SO not..or not even close to as psychic as they think they are.

Palm readers, eh???
