eye candy ? nothing of the sort really..

The special effects were what the whole movie was budgeted on probably aimed at teenagers after watching it that makes sense...Even in this case the scenes are incredibly predictable , and the idea of more is better in this case (special effects) is why it never gains its credibility.....there is no real good drama about the story behind it,it leads you on a boring banter of silly movie whoos, that really are silly..
The title 2012 was a cheap grap at selling tickets imo, while the directors ect never really intended to invest a good captivating story behind this movie..very sad,did anyone get a hint ,i didnt like it ?

The thing is, people expects too much these days, we have seem most.
Like the question is.

Would you do it better than they have?

Oh yeah woody allen, and the pickles.
He does a good job in the movie, always plays a great 'weirdo'
I could not even finish 2012 last night,
I've had the movie for a long time and just
haven't take the time to watch it, I watched the first half
and had to shut it off. I'm someone that very much
believes there will be change 12-21-12.
Not that there will be an end, but more of a beginning
of something new, nor do I think humanity will be wiped
out, like some would want.

Considering that some scientist in the US or whatever is trying to create the first official engineered lifeform, I think maybe it will be more of an Resident Evil type of change rather than a global nature destruction...

And this horsehit about the Us and Russians trying to decrease their Nuclear bombs only to be replaced by a new even worse bomb is just pathetic and I can't believe people even bothers going with this.

Damm glad I've studied all the Movies. If the Resident Evil or something of the like happens. I do believe I've got a Doctorate's Degree in how to save your ass and kill a bunch of zombies or whatever. And to think growing up my Mom said those movies would rot my brain.

Ok, so the other night I finally finished watching the movie.
Seriously you guys gave some harsh reviews, I thought it was a
good movie all around. :) Some of the scenes were a little over the top,
but kind of made it more part of the story than anything else.

And Dark, if we are ever in trouble, or anyone for that matter, I'm not sure we should
call shadow.....we'll end up the ones in the ghost box.

The movie itself is entertaining but considering the name 2012 it does not have any apocalyptic dark feeling as let's say T2 had or Alien 2 and so on.

Like most movies today...mostly eye-candy and nothing more...

Awe... Sandra... Just because if ever faced with that situation all you'll be able to do is sing karaoke and dance with stars.. there's no reason to think I'd leave ya all behind. :D

Plus how cool would it be running from Zombies, killing ghosts or whatever and having people in the backseat singing theme songs. :D
