Theocracies are the problem.
Secular government seems to
work best for all concerned,
especially for woman who are not
a minority.It seems education for
woman and the poor is not practiced
all over the world.
Education should, at the least, be in
balance with religious indoctrination.
Their should be equal rights for all.

For those of us who don't read Farsi, the Ahmadinejad photo isn't evidence of anything. It could easily be the only book he ever checked out of a library in his life (judging from the number of rubber-stampings), or his Dad's old passport, maybe even a hardbound collection of his parking citations.

My guess: It's 'his' library book, probably an edited copy of the Arabic version of 'Mein Kampf' signed by Ruhollah Khomeini.

What amazes me is that MartinTimothy didn't make issue of the Masonic ring on Mahmoud's right hand.
