Seven religions I believe. And I always end up in religious wars... The computer AI is very touchy about that sort of thing, very nosey. I must run my country the way they run theirs of there is WAR! Yes, great game. :)

I like how the combat completely turns around when you get aircraft, suddenly large armies are so much less of a virtue and heavily defended cities don't mean you survive, they mean you survive for a few turns. :P
