To all our Vets ,and men and women serving in our armed forces, THANK YOU for all you do, and have done for me. May you all who are still serving come home soon, and safe. And for all who have served may you live the rest of you're life at peace.

Guess that's what we get for having a usurper inchief.

Everyone seemed to forget we have vets, and wars going on. Pretty sad if you ask me.

While Bush was President we were reminded everyday , how many were dying, and how long the wars have been going on. I guess it's just more of the Usurpers coverage.

People who don't support, and blatantly bash troupes really irk me. Not showing respect is... I can't even think of the word, but it's not fair. People who do this don't have any idea.

I respect veterans depending on what war it is.
Vietnam sorry but no.

I still respect the soldiers who fought in 'Nam. I wouldn't say it was a war I agreed with, but since when do soldiers make the decisions? They just fight.

Well...maybe...

but I certainly dont respect those who went there to rape and kill for fun.

Every Memorial Day and Veteran's Day I always post something as a reminder of the day, only to find replies of ignorance coming back. This one is no different. There were 2 posts concerning Memorial Day, and both barly recieved any replies. Usually when posting someone has something inflamatory or political to say, or like in this case just plain stupid.


I find it amazing that some of the most outspoken voices do not even know the difference between Memorial Day and Veteran's Day. Or what yesterday should have ment to someone living in Europe like you Saturos. Sometimes its better to just keep quiet. Certainly not an event for your happy face smiles and stupid comments. To most people yesterday was just a day off work or school, and why doesn;t even cross their minds, not to mention a second of deep thought about it. Its easy to dismiss what yesterday ment to many families, or the ones who came home knowing buddies didn't, when you are on the sidelines. Just another holiday off to most people, most having no idea what the day means.
