I hope they do good next week, crystal and casey, I think you are pretty right about lee, seems like a daughtry, but I like Chris D, it would just be good to see a new type of music come out from AI, like from crystal or lee.

Looking back, I wish Lily had survived a lot longer.
She was different and interesting as well.
For a season that started out with a lot of interesting girls, and a bunch of guys who (mostly) sounded just like everyone else who has ever been on the show, it's WEIRD to me that Crystal is the only woman left.

leave next. I of course want Big Mike to go now. His Jackson performance was .....oh man it was baaaaaaaaad.

And I didn't like Lees solo performance, wasn't anything newish.
I likes caseys better. But did you get what they were talking about

Crystal and lees duet was awesome I thought tho.

Mrs. Robinson is a reference to the movie The Graduate, in which Mrs. Robinson seduces a (much) younger man. Kara has been hitting on Casey since the auditions, so the whole thing was a bit wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Lee butchered that Seal song. I almost felt like he should've gone home for that. He was quite lucky to a) have a duet with Crystal (who could have overshadowed him, but chose to make him sound good instead) and b) Have Fat Mike give a performance that glaringly showed that even HE knew he was going home. Mike didn't count himself as having a chance. His demeanor start to finish was that of someone who had totally given up already.

If Lee wins this thing, I will probably stop watching it even if they do decide to do another season.

So, yeah, I saw the thread and thought it was about the film AI. I was wrong. I should probably have not posted this, but at this point, I feel that there needs to be some sort of activity in these forums. So I will create it.

I agree, I don't think Lee should win....we'll see how he does this next week. I'd personally
like to see casey or Crystal and watch them in the top two, I think we have yet to see the best from him - and hes hot.

I think this next week the judges pick songs for them, wonder if kara will pick caseys.

After last night I don't want Casey to go home even more, I just
think he is soo much more a genuine person than Lee.
And I think him and Crystal will do good in finales.

I was REALLY annoyed with the over the top pimping of Lee.
First they give him Hallelujah to sing, then they give him a phunking mini choir as back up (and to cover up his mediocre vocals) then they give him the 380 degree camera shots and the phunking angel lighting to make his performance look like the phunking messiah has alighted from heaven and stepped on to the AI stage, all to get poor Casey sent home.
And what does Casey get saddled with? Daughters?!!? Like america wants to hear Casey sing a song by the biggest douchebag in music?! OF COURSE Casey went home and Lee is going through. I'll be shocked if Crystal can manage to pull a win out now. Idol will have it's 3rd crappy white guy alt rock/ easy listening douchebag winner in a row.

I suppose I took it a little personally.
