I think Jodi kantor should have used her voice for the audio book.
the author interview is used to steer the reader , she didn't use enough sources for the book in my opinion and had a sit down interview w/ the obamas for little more than half an hour aprox. doesn't qualify her for much of an authority.
she appears to belittle michell Obama often. though states near the end of the book that she finally finds her niche . raises the birthplace issue of the president.more than once.
writers dedication, pulls the race card from her surviving grandmother of nazi death camps. ( Jewish survivor )I think to seek an aura of legitimacy for the book. way too many credits...
some places we're just" high school evil" writer mistakes an hard working non silver spooner couple accomplished well educated minority with ' regular folk.
projects that the white house experience is a place of entitlement and connections , when to the obvious contrary the american people believe otherwise , and demonstrated as much by the power of the vote.
