Re: Nessie Caught on Satellite Camera?

It's easy to see why I may have been mistaken. Especially if the head was shrouded by a blow cloud. Re: Nessie Caught on Satellite Camera?

Greeney. I find the object as a boat analysis quite compelling, even though I'd love it to be a whale. But a publicity stunt or hoax would go along way to providing an answer why the boat would not be more distinct and seems far more plausible than a programming glitch. I'm leaning to the boat being...

Re: Nessie Caught on Satellite Camera?

The question for me is IF this is a moving boat why is it blending into the loch blue color scheme on a color satellite pic which clearly shows the other boats in stark contrast to the dark waters. If this is a common fluke of satellite photography more examples should be visible on other bodies of ...

Re: Nessie Caught on Satellite Camera?

This appears to be a blue whale feeding on the loch's eels to me. The large bulge on the head looks typical of blue whales taking a gulp of water before using their baleen filters. A whale can survive at least 2-3 weeks in fresh water from what has been observed of humpbacks in the Sacramento River....

Re: If Aquatank was running for President

Slightly off topic but I suddenly realized today that whining about taxes is STUPID, and that the reason it is so unitelligent is because the BULK of US Citizens failed to play the game right when they entered the work force at around eighteen years old. I certainly didn't plan thats my fault, and m...

Re: If Aquatank was running for President

Bloodstone I'm about as far left and anti-authoritarian as anyone can get and still be believe in having a government. :) But please pick a few parts you don't like and let me know which ones (the numbers help). I realize the ammunition issue will probably be the most vexing for most people, yet I d...

If Aquatank was running for President

I spend way too much time thinking about politics and solutions. A while back I came up with an extensive political platform that I've revised. While I will NEVER run for office (I hope). I do think some of these ideas are worth thinking about and sharing. The first thing I must say is I support the...

Lost But Not Forgotten LBK

I would posit the hypothesis (through research pre-Christian winter traditions) that though many people have not heard of this group I am of the opinion that LBK (Linear Pottery Culture) is the basis for most of European (and American) cultural traditions as well as the Kurgan Mound Builders. Furthe...

Re: What do you think about Obama?

One nice thing about real stats is they tend to confirmable and testable. But Federal Aid to the poor is something that MUST remain. Obama & Romney want unemployment to be between 3%-5.9% Unfortunately this does not solve the long term problem, we need to create a system with 0% unemployment tha...

Re: What do you think about Obama?

En Lugal regarding Food Stamps and Welfare I Strongly Suggest you read up on some of the facts before blanket statements like "The welfare and food stamp system is plagued with generations of lazy, entitled, good-for-nothing free-loaders. Guess who the majority of them are? Yep, minorities.&quo...
