No. What I am saying is that right now 1 Gbps for a personal Internet connection is overkill.

I don't think that it is really necessary for a personal Internet connection yet. There is no one person that could use up all that bandwidth. I don't see the person using anywhere near that bandwidth. I live in a house with 4 people with a 12 Mbps connection and that is plenty fast enough. We do a ...
