I would have to agree with John Anthony West, who proposes that the Sphinx alignment coincides not with the Leo constellation of 10,500 bce, but of the previous Leo alignment of 34,000 bce. The 10,500 bce date was seen to be the time of the great flood/massive civilization diebacks...
