Iran watchers

irans president Dr. ahmadinejad , said of the strait of Hormuz ,

' it will remain open '

news feed aprox 3 months ago. (it's there somewhere. )

I interpreted this statement as declarative ; not under duress.

they have under international law; rights of navigation like anyone else.

a small navigational error could be catastrophic in nature. therefore, it's been

suggested an greater reciprocal and communitive effort be established to

reduce the chance of ' adverse events' or actions independent governments,

that effect great nations that inhabit the same space. ( hopefully not at the same time) (humor)

open lines of communication need to be established. this

might be facilitated by a civilian voluntary agency that has an counterpart in

the Iranian govt or civilian sector. the island of kish will make an ideal location.

of course this is my opinion. and as such viewed w/ upmost scrutiny.

the link was obviously public sat television. could have been link tv,

rolling Iranian t.v. I have little use for most other American broadcast

sat. but , I don't think paid consultants whom have a horse in the race ,

are best sources for quality analysis no matter whom they used to be.

I find it perverted and self-serving to characterize the free press or

free writers as against " the program " that's " reefer madness talk " .

get a life. it's not right to kill the writers or go to war w/ dissent in

America. if you have a case present it, instead of inventing it. peace.

I hope irans recent censorship activity is specific to illegal vice and not propaganda or political discourse ( debate)

It would be too bad . to miss the American navy ; humanitarian act ,of rescueing Iranian fisherman from pirates. A Kodak moment for sure.

something they didn't have to do.

speaks to the heart... we don't always need to know their language
(this should not be interpreted as anti-gay.)

don't know if these are new or old hits. it is an perspective/ view
of culture that is foreign , yet familiar , and not unlike our own.
I enjoyed 27, 22, 18,16, and 15.
