shadowcass, I read your response and to a point agree, anyone can take quotes from any point in history to make a point of benevolence or hatred from any number of religious documents or writings about religions.

Unfortunately, Islam has the Quaran which has not been updated since it was put together in 622.

When you look at the Bible it was updated and it's philosophy has changed from the Old testament to the New testament. It features books written by the disciples of Christ and therefore morphed as time and mans enlightenment grew. This is true of every religion with exception to one, Islam.

zoltan, I agree with you in a sense also we are being groomed for war by means of some of the points you have raised and a religious war ( crusade) is not out of the question, the armies are being rallied and allies are being sought right now.

We see globally that "Patriot" and "Defence Leagues" made up of the ordinary man are being formed and are growing with support and such a movement is growing momentum to almost revolutionary proportions. I would say these are the armies of the "True Believers" against what they see as an evil of demonic religions and Tyrannical Governments around the world.

The Geo-political landscape has been changing for centuries and what was seen as elitists have now become the PTB, however the PTB have controllers and the theory that was put forward to me suggests that the controllers are the Saudis.

When I look at another's relgion I do not seek for those things which divide us..but for those things which we have in common.

Nor do I feel any need to try to convert someone from THEIR faith to mine....for I believe that if they keep God truly in their hearts (by whatsoever name they may call Him) He hears and blesses them.

"Whoso cometh unto me I will in no wise cast out."

It is a very presumptuous thing that humans do. Trying to limit what God can do or WHOM He can Save. And to fight with and kill one another because of our presumptions seems to me to be a very stupid thing to be doing.
