I thought so as well... It reminds me of the sect called Luciferians and may give insight into what they believe. I wonder how accurate the article is...

I guess the bottom line with that article is that Lucifer is not necessarily Satan.

Satan, as far as I know, means adversary. People can underestimate the utility of a good adversary. A good adversary can bring out the best and worst in a person but in either case, really teach someone about themselves.
