There are opinions what this monument reminds them of.

I bet it involves a body part.
War is an extension of economics and diplomacy through other means.

Economics and diplomacy are methods of securing resources used by humans.

Securing resources is the one necessary behavior for all living things.

Yep, and after I read about it, it reminded me of an episode of Everbody Loves Raymond. The mother got into sculpturing, and made some thing that ended up resembling a body part. I never thought about it until after I read the artical, but after I did I said OMG. Search around, you will find it, I thought it was a little too much to post it.

I know what people think about what it looks like. To me, it looks like a gift from one group of people to another. Maybe there's some underlying motive beneath it, maybe not. What I see right now though is work of art dedicated to people who lost their lives.

I don't buy into the theory along with it they they duped us, and until I read about what someone imagined it was, never crossed my mind. To be honest, I have never even herd of this monument before, and wondered why it was such a well kept secret. Didn't have much publicity, at least on the west coast.

Was something I was going to mention. I'm a tad upset that this didn't get more coverage. I don't like that I'm only just now hearing about it.

But, I DID get a slight impression of its looks right when I first saw the picture. I chalk it up to my immaturity though.

I chalk it up to dirty minds! Seriously I never ever herd a word about this monument, its not a small thing. Its located next to an Aircraft carriar on display . I supose its pretty well known about back there, but overshadowed by the WTC thing.
