What are the criteria for existence?

Deduction and aided or unaided perception show that something exists, albeit not necessarily what one thinks it is.

Deduction and perception aren't really criteria for existence in and of themselves, are they?

I'm asking, what are the criteria satisfying an "existence" as such?

They are criteria for something existing.

There are a few different flavors of existence. One of them is mathematical existence. Essentially, consistency is a sufficient criteria for existence.

Conceivability is another criteria. Conceivability within the universal mind. :wtf:

That's dependent on your notion of logical structure. It seems tantamount to saying "only that which makes sense to people can exist".

I doubt a "universal mind" would be so constrained.

Do you believe all of reality can be so neatly quantified and expressed in human symbolism?
