Look, cliques will always form when you get enough people together.
That's just human nature. We gravitate towards people with similar interests/beliefs/sense's of humor.

It's still early going here. Cliques will form and become just as entrenched as they were before.
It's only a matter of time.

I KNOW! That sucks!

Tell Humphreys that I'm horribly distraught with his decision to not partake in the nonsense! :) :P

And there are lots of others who are not around. The place definitely has a new feel to it, I mean it looks very similar and I actually like this one better, but the feel I get when I come here is just... Different.

Exactly.

I think one shouldn't take it personally..unless one of them gangs up on you or something..then it becomes an issue

It seems to be..unbelievably..worse online..than it is..in person even.

Humans are pack animals.(tribal)
It is what is.

The nice thing about being on a message board is..if you outgrow it..or it outgrows you..or things just don't seem right there anymore..you can find another.

That actually works in real life, too...it's just easier to do online

Yeah there are cliques. But I post to topics I think are interesting. I shun cliques. The old BV definitely had some powerful cliques and they were in effect controlling the board which was pushing some people away, including me. People grow, change and move on.
