US official: New tape may be last from bin Laden
WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. intelligence officials believe Osama bin Laden made a propaganda recording shortly before his death and expect that tape to surface soon.
It is unclear whether the tape is audio or video, but a U.S. official says that intelligence indicates it is already working its way through al-Qaida's media pipeline. The official said the timing was coincidental and there is no indication he knew U.S. forces were bearing down on him.
A new recording from bin Laden would provide a final word from the beyond grave for a terrorist who taunted the U.S. with recorded propaganda for years. It could also provide fodder to those who insist he is still alive.

why the dignity and respect for Muslim burial when we've killed thousands of innocent civilians over the past decade? It makes ZERO SENSE---and all of the mainline bloggers not beholden to the MSM are asking the very same questions.
I have to say the burial at sea was genius becasue it disallows any place for pilgramage and any way to pay homage to him, or meet at his burial site for inspiration, etc.
The second part of this went right over everyones head, and something Obama may very well know about having some Muslim roots. Islamic custom is to be washed, and wrapped in a white cloth, and buried facing Mecca. That is the custom for a common Muslim funeral. Custom for a burial as a martyr means burial in the clothing he died in, and not to be washed. In doing a common Islamic burial, he was denied the burial of a martyr.
Very well done! This one Obama got right.
