ooh..
I just watched it..so good.
I like the way they sort of gave some closure to the sotry..but on a different timeline..a different fate playined out.

But still have a chance at an open end, too.

Also it reminded me of an old Next Generation. My favorite one.
The one with Captain Picard and the satelite..it knocks him out and he lives a whole lifetime..in a short while. (I think it might actually really work that way for us, our souls..when we die, we wake up to find we were only gone a moment, less than a moment..as if moments actually exist..but..soiralling of on a tangent, here)
he learns to play the flute and that flute gift/skill stays with him after that.
It was a heart wrencher, that one.

This SG episode reminded me of all that.

Especially the death scene.

SO GOOD!!

Gonna miss this show
:(

I need to watch it again as I was distracted the first time around.
That was a good tng episode..very novel idea.

I am hoping that they get back to the structure in the universe idea that was destiny's mission...Rush had almost no part in last episode QQ he's my favorite. Although I do like Sgt. Greer as well. I loved the episode where they did some background on his character, his childhood.

Just saw the SGU episode that aired last night.

Pretty good.

I can see now though that the writers are not taking a grandiose path regarding revealing Destiny's mission.

yeah, that's dissapointing..I think maybe it was orgionally planned to bring that up in the now not coming wrap up moive (grrr)

It was still a good episode, though..looks like they are focusing on them dealing with the killer robots..kind of reminds me of when Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis had to deal with the replicators..it's a repeating theme with the series, I noticed

Kind of pedestrian. But not unenjoyed.

I might be going for pizza and beer later on today, coincidentally enough.
You're exactly right and a good way to put it.
