Alien Planet Photographed!

A photo taken in 2008 has just been confirmed--it's an alien planet! Located in Scorpius at a distance of about 500 light-years, and too hot for human habitation, but it's a start. It was photographed by the Gemini Observatory, a pair of 8-meter telescopes operated by an international consortium.

Good find. :thumbup: Has me hoping there's moons obiting the plannet that at least could support life. Maybe they even do.
Better still is that there would be no advanced life on and it would be a new home for us in the distant future. :pray:
