Apart from the Enterprise and the guy with the pointy ears, the trailer doesn't look anything like a 'Star Trek' flick.


As I said, they are just copying Star Wars.

How would they be copying 'Star Wars'? 'Star Trek' is based on Earthlings exploring their own galaxy. 'Star Wars' is based on some other civilization in a galaxy far, far away.

You could say the CGI effects look similar, though.

Lets not get too judgemental until it's been seen first.

That´s what I meant, the way the movie is made and all.
Not the plot or the characters.

Not trying to argue, but you could pretty much say the same thing about most of the big sci-fi flicks that have come out the past 10 or 15 years.

I want to see it.
I haven't seen one in the theaters since the Borg, but I'm kind of excited this time around.

Not sure if I can wrap my head around Sylar= Spock, tho...

Have you ever watched Star Trek with a bunch of die hard trekkers ?
Dont do it,because years ago i watched Star Wars with a few guys from school,it was the most annoying hsit ever..everyone talks throughout the whole kfin thing,guessing whats gonna happen..dribbling hsit...you just wanna kill the bastierdz

LOL OMG!! I do that all the time, I always cross the names up LOL, I have seen all the Star Wars movies in theaters. I decided today I am going to see Star TREK in the morning haha.
