Dovetailing

Consider two programs, each with infinitely many instructions. How could these two programs be run simultaneously?
One way to run that program is to start putting green dots on a grid. (see video)
(3,5) corresponds to instruction 3 of program 1 and instruction 5 of
program 2.

(btw, I found a formula that maps N onto Q, it's kinda neat)
