from a game called Borderlands, this music is playing in a bar:

Anyone know the name of the track and the artist?

Sorry for the rustling wind in the background.. Tried to edit it out but had little success, probably because it's not constant noise (like white noise).

What level? What's the name of the bar? What characters are there?

Edit: Nevermind. Here you go. Apparently it was just put together by some random band for the game and they never did a full, quality version.

That's a much better version, thanks!

That commenter was right in my case: it gets in your head and stays there, not unlike a 22 caliber bullet.

It's mono and derived from a 96kbps file but if you want it, here it is (looped a few times):

It's pretty cool, but I think I'll pass. There's a mediafire link in the comment section, plus I have a music ripper for Youtube.

Thanks though.

What bitrate does your youtube ripper get? My favorite one is limited to 96.

Here's a better question - how do you get the animated avatars to work?

I really want to know if and how someone can d/l youtube vids with a bitrate of higher than 96, if there's a free site that does that. Keepvid is 96 tops.

To get the avatars to work, they have to be the right proportions of course and what I did was I used an Adobe product called ImageReady 3.0 to lower the quality so that it fits into the filesize limit on BV. There's a couple of free programs that might help. Super by erightsoft and GIF resizer.. But re-sizing it might not be enough the quality would have to be reduced.

I probably used windows movie maker to cut to the little clip I have. Then I took that clip and converted to a GIF using Super. Then Adobe Imageready to lower the quality though that can probably be done in Super--Haven't tried that.

Check this one out - http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/

I don't know the bitrate, maybe you can poke around and figure it out, but everything comes out crystal clear and I've never been told I couldn't download something.

oooh, nice!

I tried one file and according to Super, it is 124 bit rate which surpasses keepvid. I should upload a 320 and see if it comes out that way when I download it.... Either way, very cool.
