Campaigners have reacted with anger to new rules on the eligibility of Ghurkha veterans to live in the UK.
Ghurkhas who retired before 1997 must meet at least one of these conditions:
Three years continuous residence in the UK during or after service
Close family in the UK
A bravery award of level one to three
Service of 20 years or more in the Ghurkha brigade
Chronic or long-term medical condition caused or aggravated by service
Now I’m sorry but look at the third and fourth ones - A bravery award of level one to three and Service of 20 years or more in the Ghurkha brigade – hello earth to labour, WTF are you doing. They have fought for us for how long. Years. Why is it even a question?
If you’re in the Ghurkhas you are fighting for the British army. So if you’re fighting for Britain, you ARE British. I don’t understand what they find hard. They let every Asian in under the sun if they could and they wont let the people who have a right to be living in the UK in. It crap!
These arseholes don’t understand that 90% of the British people want the Ghurkhas to stay, even the BNP want them here.
