Australian Antismoking Ads on U.S TV
September 7, 2007

A graphic antismoking ad produced in Australia and depicting a fatty blockage being removed from a smoker's carotid artery will soon hit the airwaves in New York, the Herald Sun reported Sept. 7.

The ad, which has received an M (mature audiences) rating, will be broadcast during sporting events. A columnist for the New York Post called the ads "among the most shocking things ever seen on American TV."

"We are delighted the 'quit smoking' messages have had an impact in New York, given many would assume American television viewers are fairly unshockable by now," said Suzie Stillman, acting director of the Australian antismoking group Quit.

But as always your arrogate, convicted bastard ways has made you look a twat. :roll:

Did I – at any stage – say it was THAT ad? No I did not.

But wait a second. How stupid of me, you probably copyrighted that film didn’t you.

We went about a week where I didn’t mind you too much but now it’s back to the old ways.

Like I said in the last thread that was for this back in the old Blackvault.

I love it when anti-smoking campaigns come out with commercials like this. Almost makes me want to take up smoking again just so I can have a huge group of people so intimately involved in my lifestyle.
War is an extension of economics and diplomacy through other means.

Economics and diplomacy are methods of securing resources used by humans.

Securing resources is the one necessary behavior for all living things.

War = Life

Piss, hide n' watch if I give a screamin' crap rathy babs. Yer spewin' at the Lib Weenies of America; the Socialist S-S-S-Sa-luts of the U.S.S.A. Their worthless. The friggin' tax on cigarettes is more of a sickening disease that these writhing bastards care to admit....much worse than some emotionally sadistic funky ass anti-smokin' ad that dropped a buck in the mothers pocket. I just as soon as stick a finger in your eye (no offense there chum). Hell, the kid's gonna recover...weenies.
