I'm more concerned with his 'Lose the earth' statement. Since when did Christians (and other monotheistic religions) 'lose the earth', since one of Christianity's doctrines is stewardship of the planet? Granted, more could be done, but just because one follows a particular religion is no reason to make such a sweeping statement. I know many Christians who are also environmental advocates.

I personally thought the original post was insightful and had many valid points. Don't care where the person who posted is from. Truth is truth.
