John Howard in US to meet with Bush
Former Prime Minister John Howard has arrived in the United States on a private visit.
While in Houston, Texas he'll meet his old partner in world affairs, former US President George W Bush.
It's likely old topics like the war in Afghanistan will be canvassed.
Mr Howard believes Australia should be sending more troops to the war-torn country.
'There should be additional commitments from all of the countries, including my own, that have troops there at present,' he told Fox News.
The former leaders will hold talks in the next few days.
