Has anyone ever heard of Section 53? If so, where is it located?

There used to be a marker at area 51 indicating area 53 was to the West side of area 51.
There is a lot of work going on out that way, whether it actually is area 53 is another question.

There has been a lot work going on at 51.

Couple of Fighters parked there now and a lot of expansion.

Something of interest in this photo for you to look at.

Red Flag is just wrapping up that's probably why there is more aircraft than usual right now.

Okay, if they can do Red Flag with two Saberliners, a Beechcraft and one Apache helicopter. If it's any consolation, one of those aircraft can actually be armed for combat...

Of course there's construction going on west of 'Area 51'. The Nevada Test Site has a visitor's center which is probably being expanded, and it's still an active Test Site anyway. :P

As further consolation, I noticed an odd 'erasure' just a tiny bit south from the screenshot you guys posted. IF I was to hazard a guess, I'd say it was a plume from a fire extinguisher, not anything to get excited about. And yes, the USAF has some very large fire extinguishers. :)
