Hello Lashmar, are you in London?

Almost; I’m at the north end of Hertfordshire, about 40 miles from the centre of London. Why do you ask?


I like your eastern thought thread.

No particular reason Lashmar, UK is a big place and I have spent time in London but not in recent years, used to go to Germany every year for about a month and London was sometimes a side trip. The Daily Wisdom thread for me is food for thought, we all need that sometimes.

UK is a big place

The funny part is I think something like 30% of it is uninhabitable.

I've never been the Germany, I'd like to go one day.

What I love about Germany is it reminds me very much of Michigan and the whole East Coast of the U.S., go if you get the chance, it's a beauiful country. If you're young and like to party Ocktober Fest is coming up very soon, not my cup of tea, too many people and too much noise.

I'm not one for lot's of people either. I have a friend who's going to travle around europe at the start of next year, I think he's going to stop of at the Ocktober Fest when it's on.

I don't know why, he can't hold his drink for anything.
