Every four or five days, depending on my mood.

Economics and diplomacy are methods of securing resources used by humans.

Securing resources is the one necessary behavior for all living things.

wow, this is FUNNY.
all the clothesline rules DO apply!
so, wing..
you bathe more than you do wash?
\
sheets are SO much better on a line..
feel so crisp.

oxford cotton shirts are better on line too.

and jeans! wow, i always hung mine with a crease in them..
and they would keep the crease.

and things almost never shrink on a line.

great thread!

next one will be how many rings did you old party line have?

or, how to properly bank a coal fire furnace...

or, whats the most sleep you ever lost during lambing night?

Of course, bathe daily.

I just happen to own more than one pair of pants (shock), so I don't need to waste time and energy doing a load every damn day. =p

I’m not kidding but how much washing do people have for fucks sake?

Panda is constantly washing, cleaning, dusting, and ironing as well. Is my mother an enigma or something, probably just not paying attention come to think of it? :?

Well I have 3 kids age 2, 4 & 7 so they each get through at least one set of clothes/school uniform each day and a set of pyjamas/nightie every night. Then theres me and my boyfriend and he's a plaster/painter etc so you can imagine the state of his clothes, then theres bedding, towels etc. I can get away with one load a day but if I do that my washing basket is full all of the time.

Lash, looking after a house and keeping it to a decent standard requires dusting, washing, vacuuming etc, if we didn't do it constantly, who would?

Edit - Also I used to use cloth nappies so that was an extra 2 washes a week and when we have a baby I will be back onto the cloth again so... :P

I haven't gotten a washer or dryer for the cabin yet, therefore when I stay for an extended period I have to wash my clothes in an old wash tub, and put up a clothesline. I must say the clothes are much fresher smelling when dried in the sun.
