Unlike the pope and all othwr religious leaders, the Dalai Lama has humor.

And since the pope fell and broke his whatever, I guess that God doesn´t like that ***hole either.

I just watched a Doco on Tibet & Trulkus children claiming to be reincarnated lamas so to gain their political power & wealth.

it was very eye opening.

Born Again Buddhists

In the last remaining Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan reincarnation is a way of life, but in recent years more and more children are claiming to be reincarnates forcing the Bhutanese government to step in. Trulkus live on the public purse and gain many advantages in life so they must be genuine. Monks and parliamentarians meet to decide on a ten-point plan to carefully control the number of trulkus/reincarnated lamas, usually identified at a young age by past-life recall. This film follows the stories of little boys claiming to be the same reincarnation of a 17th century lama.
